Barnsley Easter Singaround at The Keel Inn, Canal Street Nr ASDA ~ A 61 about 5 minutes walk from Barnsley Interchange ~ April 10^th 11^th 12^th 2009

This venue was used last year and its chief attribute is the secure car park catering for camper vans and caravans. Plenty of room but let me know you are coming please. There is a motel as part of the complex and some stayed there last. The Travelodge is an alternative but is a taxi distance of a good 2 miles.

 Some changes from last year in that Good Friday April 10^th will feature guest spots from around 8.30pm in the form of 15 minutes for single acts and 20 minutes for duos. Singaround format to be in place after 10.30pm.

 Saturday 11^th April will be singaround and accompanied singers etc and I will need volunteer MCs. I have some already and I will allocate who wants to do this in 2 hour sessions.

 Sadly due to the noise travelling the musicians’ session will have to be incorporated into the weekend and cannot take place separately/ concurrently. I suggest that musicians have sessions on Good Friday until 8.30pm and two sessions on Saturday say 12 noon until 1pm and around 6pm. There will be an official break on Saturday at 6.30 pm for the usual curry with restart at 8.30 pm. Prompt!

 On Easter Sunday at 1pm we will have one or two songs prior to this years guests from the North East who are Barrie and Ingrid Temple who have a growing army of fans.
